What is a Get Out strategy?

A Get Out strategy, also known as a stop-loss order, is a sell order, set at a price lower than the current price, to limit your losses if the price of the stock drops. With a Get Out strategy, a market order will be placed to sell and then execute all your stocks of a particular company once the Get Out price is reached.

Note that while a market order will be placed once the get out price is reached, it is not guaranteed that the strategy will be executed at the Get Out price.
